Moskvarium Visiting Regulations
- Moskvarium is open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM, except for the cleaning day – the last Monday of each month (it can be postponed to another date, the information about it is posted on the official website of Moskvarium – www.moskvarium.ru)
- For safety reasons and in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) while visiting Moskvarium, all visitors must use personal protective equipment for respiratory system (masks, respirators). Personal hand protective equipment is recommended too (gloves). Furtermore, all visitors must keep the distance of at least 1,5 m from the other visitors of Moskvarium following the special marking on the floor. The members of one family may not keep social distancing between each other. The Administration keeps the right to refuse providing of services to the visitors ignoring the given requirements.
- The entrance to the exposition of the Aquarium is possible before 9PM.
- The entrance to the Auditorium and the Aquarium is allowed only upon presenting tickets purchased at the official points of sales:
- ticket offices at Moskvarium (119, bld. 23, Prospekt Mira, VDNH, Moscow);
- Moskvarium ticket terminals;
- official website www.moskvarium.ru;
- points of sales of Moskvarium’s official partners.
- Tickets to the Aquarium are purchased for adults and children over 3 years old. A ticket is for a single entry and is only valid on the date indicated on the ticket.
- Tickets to the Water Show (to the Auditorium) are purchased for all categories of visitors regardless of their age (including children under 3 years). The ticket is for a single entry and is only valid for the date and time indicated on the ticket.
- The program, the show duration and the cast of the Events can be changed by the Moskvarium administration without prior notice.
- Before purchasing tickets to the Water Show please pay attention to the seats you choose. On some seats visitors might get wet due to splashes of water caused by the tricks performed by animals.
- E-tickets are to be presented in hard copy or on an electronic device (mobile phone, tablet). Moskvarium is not responsible for mistakes while scanning a ticket from a mobile phone in case the phone display is damaged. You can print the ticket (using the order number and the bank card you have used to pay) in the ticket terminals of Moskvarium, located at: 119, building 23, Prospekt Mira, VDNH, Moscow.
- Entrance fees and special offers are indicated in information stands at Moskvarium, and on Moskvarium official website.
- In case reduced fees are established depending on the age of visitors, cashiers and / or ticket inspectors are entitled to demand presentation of documents confirming the age of a visitor.
- Reduced fee tickets are purchased at Moskvarium ticket offices only after presentation of a document confirming reduction of payment, in accordance with Moskvarium fees. Moskvarium defines its own list of citizens of privileged categories that can use benefits and sets the order of providing such benefits including the list of documents proving the right for benefits.
- Discounts, benefits and promo codes are not summarized and do not apply to the special promotions and offers.
- There are special photo zones for professional photo shooting by Moskvarium photographers. At the Aquarium the photo zones are located near aquariums with duplicated exposition or near one of the sides of many-sided tanks.
- Before visiting the Aquarium exposition, it is recommended to look through the plan of the exposition and to follow the navigation system.
- Due to preventive maintenance works and resting time for the animals the swimming pool viewing windows can be temporarily closed.
- For visitors with disabilities (using wheelchairs) there are special ramps at the Aquarium exposition. Visitors with prams are welcome to reach the second level of the exposition using the ramps.
- Only Moskvarium guides are allowed to conduct excursions on the territory of the Aquarium exposition.
- In case of cancellation of the event on the initiative of Moskvarium administration, the refund of the tickets is carried out at the address: 119, building 23, Prospekt Mira, VDNH, Moscow (Moskvarium) within ten days from the date of the corresponding request. In this case the full price of the tickets is returned. The refund of discounted tickets for canceled events is carried out taking into account the discount amount.
- In case of cancellation of the event on the day of the event for reasons beyond the control of the Administration (force majeure circumstances), ticket refund requests are accepted within ten days from the cancellation of the event, at the address: 119, building 23, Prospekt Mira, VDNH, Moscow (Moskvarium), as well as by e-mail indicated on the official website with the information about purchased tickets, photos or scanned copies attached. The refund is to be accomplished within ten days from the date of the request. In this case, the full price of the tickets is refunded.
- Tickets with unreadable or altered (withered, sealed, strikethrough, corrected, erased, smeared, etc.) information fields are invalid.
- For upcoming and unsold services Moskvarium can change all the offers, prices and sale conditions without notice, put limits on duration, seats and dates of preliminary purchase, put limits due to weekends and holidays, special offers, waiting lists and other conditions and restrictions.
- Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by adults (18 years old and older).
- Children are allowed to visit events only conforming to signs of age limit established by Moskvarium administration. The responsibility for children under the age limit established by Moskvarium administration lies on their parents or other official representatives.
- Visitors are obliged to:
- Leave outer clothing at the cloakroom according to the rules of Moskvarium cloakroom.
- Follow the order of the queue at the entrance to the Auditorium.
- Take your seats in the audience according to the ticket and keep the ticket until the end of a show.
- The admission of visitors to the Auditorium starts 30 minutes before the time indicated in the ticket.
- Visitors agree that in case of telecasting or footage of the event, the event organizer and / or the person carrying out the telecasting or the footage of the event has the right to use the recording of the visitor's images (including for use in audiovisual works) obtained during the footage directly at the event or in connection with the event, at no cost, in any place, in any way without restriction of the territory and the period of use.
- The administration reserves the right to regulate the number of visitors at Moskvarium including temporal access restriction to the building based on the number of visitors already present at Moskvarium.
- In order to ensure the safety of visitors and the detection of objects prohibited for carrying to Moskvarium, visitors enter Moskvarium through a control point equipped with arched and manual metal detectors. Those visitors who have pacemakers and other medical devices which normal operation can be affected by a metal detector should inform the controller when approaching the monitoring system. For safety control manual metal detectors are also used for people with disabilities. The Administration has the right to forbid the entrance of a visitor to Moskvarium if they refuse to go through the control point.
- The Administration asks the visitors of Moskvarium to follow the given Visiting Rules, to treat other visitors of Mosvkarium with respect, to follow the directions given by Moskvarium employees, to carefully use the facilities of Moskvarium, to keep from actions causing danger for the people around, to inform Moskvarium employees about cases of detecting suspicious objects, things, hostage-taking, occurrence of smoke or fire, to follow the public order and fire safety rules.
- Mobile or security alert devices must be turned off or put in a silent mode for the period of the show.

It is forbidden to...
- Smoke on the territory of Moskvarium (electronic cigarettes, vapes included).
- Carry your own food and drinks; drink any drinks brought with you (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) except food for infants (up to 3 y.o.); enter Moskvarium under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicants; carry bladed, traumatic, fire weapon, piercing or cutting objects, flammable, fragile, explosive, poisonous, odorous and narcotic substances, chemical reagents; large objects (suitcases, bags, boxes, etc.), helium balls and glass containers; laser pointers, flashlights and other lighting devices; animals.
- Bring any type of weapon – firearm, sports, hunting, pneumatic, traumatic, gas, signal, throwing, steel, as well as sharp, sharp and cutting, slashing, sharp and slashing, crushing items; full size weapon models, ammunition, explosive materials, explosive items, flammable substances, pyrotechnics, special means (any kinds of aerosol gas sprays, stun device), potent toxic, radioactive, narcotic and psychotropic substances; fragile objects, odorous substances, chemical reagents; large objects (boxes, etc.), helium filled balloons and glass packaging, laser pointers, torches and other lighting devices.
- Bring food and drink to the auditorium (including those purchased at Moskvarium).
- Bring helium filled balloons to the auditorium (including those purchased at Moskvarium).
- Bring or carry animals.
- Feed animals and fish, drop any objects (coins, food, etc.) into the water.
- Carry out unauthorized commercial activities.
- Violate the public order, talk loudly, make noise, whistle during the performance, litter and scatter various items on the territory of Moskvarium.
- Move about Moskvarium on a skateboard, a scooter, a bicycle, a hoverboard or roller skates.
- Use escalators to ascend and descend prams to avoid accidents and equipment breakdowns. To ascend/descend prams, please turn to the information desk for help.
- Leave children unattended.
- The administration reserves the right to not allow late visitors to the Auditorium.
- During show time it is prohibited to approach the glass fence and pools, walk about the hall and to stand in the aisles.
- Take photos and make videos in the Auditorium and the Aquarium Exposition using professional photo and video equipment (large, using additional equipment), take flash photos and use other lighting effects (backlight, torch etc.).
- Knock on the glass of fish tanks.
- Damage and move decorative elements located at the Aquarium Exposition zone.
- Bring prams to the Auditorium (prams can be left in the lobby or at the cloak room).
In case of violation of Moskvarium Visiting Regulations, the Administration reserves the right to refuse entry to Moskvarium or to ask to leave Moskvarium, yet the cost of the ticket is not refunded..
